Colin Wilson
After studying film production and business studies at college Colin entered the film industry in September 1975 working in the European office of Warner Bros.
Later he joined ITC Entertainment (part of the then ATV Network), first, as Distribution Planner (Middle & Far East) and then as Film Supervisor running the film laboratory liaison department.
In 1980 he joined the technical department of RM Productions, working as the Production Supervisor, and from 1990 as Producer.
Colin has pioneered the use of High Definition for long form productions and has been working in this medium for more than fifteen years.
He has worked on a variety of productions from Single Camera Documentaries to Multi-
His experience extends to shooting Documentaries, Classical Concerts, Ballet and Operas. these have been distributed for worldwide Broadcast and DVD release.
Titles include: Howard Blakes The Snowman, Glinka’s Rusland & Lyudmila and the 18 hour Chinese opera The Peony Pavilion.
Since leaving RM, Colin has been working as a freelance Producer / Production Manager undertaking productions in Paris ( Sumi Jo in Concert ) and in many UK Theatres directing promotional and sales DVDs
He has now teamed up with Bestlight to lead their shooting and production division.
